Employment Opportunities at SNAP

Instructors

Studio North Academy of the Performing Arts (SNAP) is a bustling dance and music studio in Wilmette. We are always seeking instructors to grow with us! We are accepting resumes for well-rounded instructors who are able to effectively teach ballet, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary and jazz, to both younger children and older, more advanced students. We do hold syllabi in place that all instructors must follow, and have a solid team who work together to tweak the syllabus to meet current needs in our students. Prospective instructors must be able and willing to adhere the syllabus yet flexible to the individual needs of our students.

Being a member of the SNAP team means you are an experienced performer and instructor, who can spark the joy and creativity of dance while controlling the classroom, are organized and prepared for every class, can communicate clearly and make corrections kindly on the spot, and are ready to foster a whole new tribe of dancers. Enthusiasm, kindness, and passion for working with children are a must.

SNAP’s team is made up of long-term instructors who are a part of our staff family. We regularly spend time together and help each other out when needed. If you would like to be considered for a position, please send your resume and a choreography reel to info@studionorthacademy.com. No phone calls, please.
